I began painting in watercolor towards the end of the century, seduced and challenged by both its delicacy and power. Although self-taught through reading and experimentation, I've participated in workshops with Keiko Tanabe, Don Andrews, Ávaro Castagnet, and Frank Eber who taught me much about color and value. I've been involved in several area figure study groups and am an active member of the Newburyport Art Association (Master Artist), the Greater Haverhill Art Association (President), New England Watercolor Society, and NH Plein Air Artists.
